Have a group of 10 or more people? Do you work for a non-profit and are looking to travel as a means of fundraising? We are happy to plan and manage all aspects of your family, corporate or group travel – coordinating all the airfare, hotels, transfers, tours – whatever you need. We will even manage payment and registrations, so you don’t have to worry about the details.

Prince Edward Island: Anne of Green Gables

Join us on an adventure to Prince Edward Island, just off the coast of Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, Canada - famous for the location of Anne of Green Gables! We will visit Cavendish and the Green Gables Heritage Place, and the Anne of Green Gables museum. We will see the gabled house and stroll the grounds which inspired Lucy Maud Montgomery. We'll visit Montgomery's home, her burial site, and birthplace. We will also be treated with an evening performance of Anne of Green Gables: The Musical! Also included in the tour are lighthouse and winery visits, and time to explore Charlottetown's Downtown Farmer's Market.

New England Literary Tour

Follow in the footsteps of some of America's most famous literary figures like Fitzgerald, Edgar Allan Poe, Washington Irving, Mark Twain, Harriet Beecher Stowe, Louisa May Alcott and more! We'll visit New York City and tour a mansion estate that would have inspired Great Gatsby.  We'll have cocktails in the Champagne Bar at the Plaza Hotel, frequented by Fitzgerald.  Visit Edgar Allan Poe's Cottage.  Tour Washington Irving's Sunnyside Estate.  Walk through the Sleepy Hollow Cemetery and Old Dutch Church, and hear more about the famous Legend of Sleepy Hollow.  Explore the homes of Mark Twain, Harriet Beecher Stowe,  and Henry L Longfellow and Louisa May Alcott, and Ralph Waldo Emerson.   We also visit the Sleepy Hollow Cemetery where many famed authors were laid to rest, including Thoreau, Hawthorne, Emerson and Alcott.  We end our tour with a literary-themed walking tour of Boston.

Treasures of Egypt

The mysteries and treasures of Egypt unfold before you on your journey along the intriguing Nile River. Begin by spending time at the awe-inspiring Pyramids of Giza – one of the Seven Ancient Wonders of the World. Stand in awe at the iconic Great Sphinx. Travel to ancient Memphis, with its nearly 40-foot statue of Ramses II, and Sakkara. Embark on a leisurely paced 4-night cruise on the Nile, the world’s longest river. See Luxor’s impressive Temples of Karnak. On the West Bank of the Nile in Luxor, uncover countless ancient treasures including the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari, and the Colossi of Memnon. German Fairytales and More…

During this 11-day journey, we will venture through Germany from top to bottom, from Berlin all the way to Munich, stopping in small towns and villages, famous for culture, traditions and literary history.  We'll enjoy a guided city tour of Berlin, an optional tour of Sanssoucci Palace and Gardens in Potsdam, and a visit to Bergen-Belsen – the concentration camp where Anne Frank spent her final days.  Then we make our way to the famous Fairy-tale Route, made famous by the Brothers Grimm. 

We’ll stop in Bremen, Hamelin, Trendelberg, Sababurg and Kassel – all towns where the Grimm Brother’s either lived, studied, wrote and based their famous stories.  We’ll see Rapunzel’s Tower, Sleepy Beauty’s Castle, Lowenburg Castle and Grimm World Center and exhibition.  We continue on to the medieval city of Rothenberg, perhaps the most famous town of Germany’s Romantic Road.  Enjoy free time to explore this beautiful town, take in some wine tasting and join the Night Watchman’s Tour.  Then, we make our way to Neuschwanstein Castle – the famous castle that inspired Walt Disney's Cinderella’s Castle.  Before we arrive in Munich, we’ll stop in Oberammergau, where the Passion Play is held every 10 years (next up in 2020). 

We end our tour in Munich, but we do have an optional extension available to stay for a guided tour of Munich and to enjoy the festivities of Oktoberfest!

Alpine Explorer & the Glacier Express Train with Oberammergau Passion Play

Preparations are already underway for the next Passion Play in the tiny Bavarian hamlet of Oberammergau. The shows in 2020 may seem distant but the excitement is already building for the next production. Demand for tickets is high and space on tours will be limited.

During this 12-day journey, we will venture through Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Italy, and most importantly, witness a performance of the Oberammergau Passion Play.  Spend two nights in Stresa, located on the banks of Lake Maggiore, enjoy a wine and cheese pairing at an Italian family farm, soak up the mountain air with two nights in Zermatt with views of the Matterhorn, experience the most legendary of Alpine railway journeys on the Glacier Express, explore Salzburg's historic and charming Old Town, delight in dinner and a Mozart concert at the 1,200 year old St Peter's restaurant, visit Linderhof Palace and Neuschwanstein Castle.
